A good example of an entrepreneur is Steve Jobs. He dropped out of college and started his own business in his garage. Eventually he owned one of the biggest companies in the world: Apple. He took risks and managed to build his own empire.
Howard Schultz was an entrepreneur. He wasn't the one who opened the original starbucks' doors, but he imposed his idea on the tiny coffee shop on the east coast and put a cup with it's logo in hands all across the world.
Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield are two great examples of entrepreneurs. The owners and founders of the famous Ben & Jerry's ice cream, they started their business in the late 70's with no more then a 12,000 dollar investment for an ice cream parlor. Although their first parlor did not survive long this didn't stop them from gaining reputation and eventual success. They innovated interesting and funny events such as the first ever "free cone day" after their first anniversary as a company. Likewise their ice cream was used to create the world's largest ice cream sundae. As a team, they're risky investment turned into a famous brand name with parlors and ice cream vendors across the nation.
